Update: Wonder Comics has released a new preview for its upcoming Eternals title from writer Kieron Gillen and artist Esad Ribic, debut January 6. The trailer, which features a voiceover narration meant to be spoken by Ikaris of the Eternals, shows off some new prowess from the series - and states the Eternals are "not what they've been told."

Spell we're unsure what that means, the Eternals ordinarily believed chronicle is that they are beings created away the natural object Celestials to seed Solid ground and fight their opposite beings the Deviants.

Original story follows.

The new Eternals current series has been postponed two months aside Marvel.

Originally announced to debut November 11, the series is now rescheduled for January 6, 2021. A amended eject date for the second issue, in the first place conceived for December 2020, has not been announced.

The publisher has not given a reason for this delay, however, this word comes as the Eternals movie was postponed to November 2021. It was originally scheduled to debut in November 2020 ahead the onset of the general, but was pushed support first to February 2021 and now to November 2021.

While the Eternals' comic record book delays could be attributed to that, Wonder Comics has previously kept to its comical book release dates of former movie-related new comic record book serial publication Black Widow and Shang-Ki.

That being same, with a January 2021 release date, the Eternals comic book would still be released 10 months in front of the Eternals film - with a collected edition of the first arc most likely in stores in time for that November 2021 theatrical debut.

Back in September, writer Kieron Gillen mentioned in passing he was already reviewing a learned version of Eternals #1, so the delay does not seem to be correlate a production topic.

"For millions of years, 100 Eternals have roamed the Earth, secret protectors of humanity. Without them, we'd be smears between the teeth of the daimon-like Deviants. Their war has waged for all fourth dimension, echoing in our myths and nightmares," reads Wonder Comics' appeal for Eternals #1. "But nowadays, Eternals face something new: change. Can they - or anyone on Earth - survive their find?"
